In the phrase, “Book me a ticket to Paris for tomorrow,” “Paris” is an entity representing a location, and “tomorrow” is an entity representing a date. They also perform sentiment analysis to determine the sentiment or emotion behind a piece of text.  Furthermore, the platforms can translate, summarize, and convert text to speech.

It’s favored for its easy-to-use interface, efficient intent, and entity recognition.

Part of the Azure Cognitive Services suite, CLU helps applications understand user intents from natural language input. The Azure platform is very versatile but not as user-friendly as Google Cloud.
